Artist Info: New State

New State was the solo alt-metal project of a Joshua. New State, although it had a few more demos and song samples, was discontinued in 2012, having only finished its first album, Rise, in August of 2011.
However, New State lives on, in a way, through the more progressive, art-rock direction of Absolution, Joshua Kes' next solo project, which started in 2013, releasing only an improvised, partially-instrumental Continuum EP in 2014 and a few single samples, such as Serpentine. [read more...]
