Natel was born Nathaniel Hewitt in St Ann, Jamaica on June 27, 1987 to parents Ras Correl and Leonie Hewitt. Ascending from a family of musicians his original dream was to be one of the greatest bass players of all times. Natel was always inspired by his father who remains his mentor today. He learned to play the guitar as Ras Correl himself is one of Jamaica's greatest guitarists, alongside legendary guitarist Ernest Ranglin, Ras Correl's cousin. [read more...]
