Artist Info: Nancy Ames

This American singer first came into public eye singing the theme to the US version of the British television program "That Was The Week That Was" in 1964-1965. She hit the lower reaches of the charts in 1966 with "He Wore the Green Beret" and "Cry Softly." Of Panamanian descent (born Nancy Alfaro), she also released two latin-themed albums that were re-released in the new millenium. [read more...]
