Murrenik is a recording trio formed by Rik, Mark and René. Vinke & Waterweg recorded the hit single Lege Batterijen together, when Neijmeijer joined the band that would become Murrenik.

The second single Zeven Dagen maybe became an even bigger hit than Lege Batterijen and it established them as serious recording artists.
