Philadelphia-based musicians, Acire and Niagra Jones, were childhood friends that met in Harlem at grade school age. In 2014 Niagra and Acire crossed paths again in a Philadelphia club, where fate bought them back together as musicians and friends, recording hardcore R&B and hardcore hip-hop as the collective Msterious. Drawing from the rich heritage of classic artists like Tupac, Lil Kim, and Foxy Brown, Msterious seek to express rawness and self-truths through their lyrics and sound. [read more...]
