Artist Info: Monoton

Monoton is an Austrian experimental minimal wave band started by Konrad Becker in 1979. In 1998 The Wire magazine singled out Monoton’s record "Monotonprodukt07" from 1982 among the 100 most important records of the 20th century. In 1992 the Dutch techno DJ Daniël Leeflang (a.k.a. DJ Dano) became an additional member of the project.
