Artist Info: Monophobic

The story of Monophobic starts in 1991 when Toni Peltola was a young hip hop freak and anxious to make his own tracks. Inspired by Public Enemy, Ice Cube, Cypress Hill among others he started to make hip hop joints in Finnish. In 1991 he made three demotapes under the nickname Tonkku and sold over 300 copies of these underground pieces.

His interest in Jungle / Drum'n'Bass started to grow after hearing a Boogie Times Tribe track "The Dark Stranger" in 1993. [read more...]
