モノブライト (also monobright or MONOBRIGHT) is a Japanese rock band. They formed in June 2006 and their big break came in 2007 upon their signing to DefSTAR RECORDS, Japan. They were active as a five-piece band from November 2010 to November 2012. Motoki Matsuoka was the music producer for the band until their seventh single, " Kodoku no Taiyo," and they have been self-producing ever since. Their genre is often described as Shimokita kei, Pop Rock, Alternative rock or Power Pop. They have been on hiatus from 2017 until 2025. [read more...]
