Monikkr is the most recent incarnation of Anthony Fonseca, a writer/producer out of Brooklyn, NY. Monikker uses a fusion of rock & roll and electro-pop rhythms to create an edgy, stylistic, dance-floor friendly sound.
Born in Lima, Peru Monikkr's family moved to Prospect Heights, Brooklyn when he was a small child. He came of age during the 80's, at the height of the hair metal era. MTV was just beginning to dazzle audiences with flashy videos and the sounds of Motley Crue, Skid Row, and Ozzy Osbourne played in heavy rotation on the radio. [read more...]
