MiXE1 began as the creative outlet of vocalist and songwriter Mike Evans (X-RL7), who sought to merge the emotional power of alternative rock with the infectious melodies of synth-driven electronic music. The project gained traction with the debut Module 01 EP (2010), followed by standalone single A Spark in the Air (2011), and a second EP, Module 02 (2012).

In late 2012, MiXE1 evolved into a full band when guitarist/bassist Lee Towson and drummer Lee O’Brien (active 2012-2019) joined the project. [read more...]
