Artist Info: Miriam Simone

As a young girl at the age of four Miriam Simone started to sing.
Growing up with the influences of gospel, soul and reggae music she starts to Jam at the age of thirteen with several bands all around Amsterdam.

After singing in several choirs in church she joined the reggae hiphop formation Postmen at the age of eighteen as a background singer. As female member of the Dutch label dreddayouthz she rocked on several tunes with a big hit in Surinam called Uma no Krey. [read more...]
