Marcum Core hails from Hopkins, SC, where his father, a music lover from Goldsboro, NC, and his mother, a Motown native, introduced young Marcum to music; it is no “Quincy”dence that Marcum had inherited his parents love for music. Marcum grew up listening to a variety of music ranging from Old School R&B to Jazz to Classical to Hip-Hop.
