1.) MeKaDo (a name formed by combining the three vocalists' first names - Melanie Bender, Kati Karney and Dorkas Kiefer) represented Germany in the 1994 Eurovision Song Contest with the up-tempo "Wir geben 'ne Party", translated into English as "We're Givin' A Party", as against the more idiomatic "We're Having a Party".
