Emir Timur Tokdemir (born 24 March 1998 in Munich, Germany), better known as Mechatok, is a German music producer and DJ. He is known as a frequent collaborator with the Drain Gang music collective, releasing a collaborative album with Bladee, Good Luck, in 2020. In 2025, he released his debut solo studio album, Wide Awake.

He started playing instruments at the age of six, primarily the guitar and piano. He tried to be active in bands, and at one point, attempted to pursue a career as a semi-professional classical guitarist. [read more...]
