1. Mayla is a Latvian death metal/deathcore band from Daugavpils, Latvia, formed in 2013 and named after rare Sanskrit name referring to a "religious gathering". The members had rich experience in various music styles, starting from jazz and electronic, finishing with symphonic metal.

The band split up in 2021 and were reformed in 2023.
