The Neue Zürcher Zeitung described Poschner as „the most promising up-and-coming talent“ after his sensational success at the Komische Oper Berlin where he worked together with stage directors such as Hans Neuenfels, Peter Konwitschny, Andreas Homoki and Sebastian Baumgarten.
