
Mark Schwindt was born on August 2d, 1987, in Barnaul, Russia and immigrated to Germany when he was fifteen. He started to learn piano by himself at the age of 22, practicing on a small keyboard given to him by his sister. He never went to a music school preferring an experimental way of studying. His repertoire is rather modern than classical. In his works you can clearly hear the influence of a French musician and composer Yann Tiersen.
