Artist Info: Mark Beesley

Mark started off his love for boogie, disco and funk during his time in Manchester in the late 90’s, early 00’s. On his return to Shrewsbury in 2002 and with a bit of money behind him, he decided to start buying vinyl of all the tunes he loved up in Manchester and progressed into discovering the forgotten gems of the disco/boogie late 70s to early/mid 80s era. In 2003 he started playing regular gigs in Birmingham and in 2006, through a mutual friend met Matt Wedderkopp who ran "2Kilos Of Funk". [read more...]
