Artist Info: Maripool

Maripool is the stage name of Natacha Simões, a Lisbon-born, London-based singer-songwriter and “one-girl band.” She taught herself guitar after moving to London at 18 and began writing songs influenced by shoegaze, bedroom pop, indie rock, and Midwest emo.

Her debut single, “Blindness,” came out in 2021, followed by the EP It All Comes At Once in 2022. She released another EP, a day that feels like nothing at all, in 2024. Her music is known for jangly, guitar-driven arrangements and emotionally introspective lyrics. [read more...]
