Mal refers to multiple artists:

1) mal is an electronic music producer primarily focused on making breakcore / experimental / industrial music, though she does make music in a variety of different genres. She's a cool girl with some awesome friends. I know this become I'm mal, the person writing this.

2) MAL were a dark new wave/post punk band from California in the early 80s who later became the Phantom Surfers
