
Lars Angerdal (1937-2006) was a Swedish organplayer and conductor for the Cathedral of Uppsala. He studied at the Royal Academy of Music in Stockholm from 1957 untill 1962 and spend the following year at Berlin's Musikhochschule. In 1967 he became the assistent organist at Uppsala Cathedral and director of five of the choirs there. As of 1994, he became the Cathedrals organist and director of two choirs that gave performances all around the world. He died in 2006, at age 69. [read more...]
