Kulcha Connection is a French-Canadian reggae band formed in Montreal in 2000 by members Rebel and Face-T . Rebel, born Hantz Lalanne, grew up in Montreal with Haitian immigrant parents. Face-T is a Quebecois who grew up in Jamaica. His real name is Nicolas Latendresse. Kulcha Connection's music is demonstrative of their heritages: a mix of English, French, Jamaican Patois and Haitian Creole lyrics set to dancehall reggae beats.
