Artist Info: Kini Mod

Kini Mod is a 25 year old Singer/ Songwriter from Berlin, where he was born and grew up. At the age of 16 he began to write songs on his guitar. Influenced by bands and artists like Tocotronic, Radiohead, Elliott Smith, Iron & Wine or Nick Drake he developed the style of his music.

Mostly his songs are just instrumented with vocals and guitars. A very quiet and introverted mood is generated by that. The music and espacially the lyrics are very emotional, serious and personal, that's why Kini Mod sings in German, which is his native language. [read more...]
