Kenji Washio Schecterson (born December 27, 1999), known professionally as Kenji, is an American singer-songwriter known for his R&B and Contemporary R&B sound. Of Japanese heritage, Kenji was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, where he sang for fun throughout his youth and dabbled in freestyling with friends over YouTube beats.
