Artist Info: Kalidah

Kalidah are a band from Newcastle in the North-East of England.

Rachel Casey and Guy Schofield met through the internet and originally started to write and record music as a duo, playing several instruments between them and producing their own recordings from a tiny bedroom studio.

With the addition of Harriet Cole on piano and synths, Kalidah's music became more complex, with rich vocal arrangements and layers of acoustic and electronic instruments, including guitar-synths, mandolins and oboes. [read more...]
