1. The songs began in the late 70's with 2 people who got together at Essex University and later moved to live in an area of Bethnal Green known as the Triangle. These were squats that became part of a Housing Co-operative which saved them from destruction and the songs grew out of how it felt to live there during that time. [read more...]
