Jay Bolotin was born in Fayette County, Kentucky in 1949.He is a poet, a song writer, a performer and an extraordinary visual artist.He is primarily a professional woodcuts artist.He connected his artistic and musical skills by making one opera called "Limbus" performed with mechanical puppets and one animation movie called "The Jackleg Testament".
