J RAY is a one-man-band with a cardboard robot from outerspace, Boxman 3000, who's plans to destroy planet Earth are constantly being foiled by J Ray's music. Basically, J RAY is one part Beck, one part Cake, then sprinkle a bit of Slightly Stoopid on the rocks.
