IMALU, real name Otake Imalu (大竹いまる), is a Japanese actress and artist. Born in Tokyo, Japan, on September 19, 1989, she is the daughter of the famous comedian Akashiya Sanma (明石家さんま) and actress Otake Shinobu (大竹しのぶ). She early interest in music and decided to become an artist herself. She went to study in Canada in a school in Victoria, which she left in April 2008.
