1.) Iapetus is a dark/progressive/atmospheric metal band pulling from the genres of melodeath, post-black metal, neo-folk, and doom; attempting to fuse the melodic aesthetic of bands like Agalloch and Alcest with the progressive sensibilities of Opeth. Their sophomore album "The Body Cosmic" was released on November 9th, 2019.
