Origin

HJMS, formerly Hawn and Jeff Makes Stuff, originates from the bowels of Greensboro, NC and Raleigh, NC. HJMS formed as a band in early 2009 with band members, Hawn Kingh August and Jeffery Langley. Originally just an electro-pop duo and graphic artists, HJMS began to expand in to various genres creating their own genre of dance music and art deemed Post-Futurism.

Influences

Through influences of Electro, House, Hip-Hop, and Acoustic Soul, HJMS creates a style of music exclusively for getting movement started on the dance floor. [read more...]
