Artist Info: Higher Primates

The Higher Primates was a "band" that existed, in studio only, in the early 1980's. All synths, guitars, bass, soprano, alto and tenor saxs, voices, engineering and everything else except the record cover design were the product of one Nicholas Wedd Brown, the cover was done by his sister, Pen Brown.

There were two live performance bands that featured Nick's music and were fronted by Nick, While the first was called "The Higher Primates" the second incarnation was called simply "The Primates". [read more...]
