Helsingfors were an instrumental band, formed in late 2008 from the ashes of London post-rock group, From The Sky.

They then when on a permanent hiatus for different reasons;

Dan decided to follow his dream of being a total dick.
James realised he could make much better music on his own.
Barry moved into a small cave near Costa Del Dagenham.
Alan grew his hair. More.
John had a sex change and there was a 'no girls' policy in the band.
