Hebert Vázquez, composer (Mexico City, Mexico) was a pupil of Mario Lavista at the National Conservatory of Mexico City, studied composition with Leonardo Balada and Lukas Foss and electronic music with Reza Vali at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh (MM), and attended the University of British Columbia, Canada (DMA).
