1. Pennsylvania based Death/Doom band. Release a series of demos that were complied on "All Soon To Be Dead..." released by Painiac Records.

2. Johan Liiva - former Arch Enemy and NonExist singer - formed the band Hearse, with Mattias Ljung on guitar and ex-Furbowl bandmate Max Thornell on drums.

3. Sludge/doom metal from Ithaca, New York

4. An extreme funeral doom band from Salem, Oregon with members of Merkstave, Leech, Ancestortooth, and Münn. One release, "O Ye Spheres," was released on Greysun Records in 2017.
