
It was the mid-1960s, when adult pop music was still the mainstream. A "handsome boy band" emerged, armed with skills honed at U.S. military clubs. The band of six men were named "He6" . As they showcased not only outstanding instrumental performances but also vocals with perfect harmony, young people went wild. They were a frontrunner band of the 1970s golden age of ‘group sound’ bands in Korea.
