grilly grew up in manchester, initially on a parental diet of ian dury & the blockheads, the smiths, captain beefheart, and shriekback, and made his first home recording at the age of twelve - 'smoke on the water' played on a shatterproof ruler.

Currently living in that bit of east london that's always on the telly, Grilly has been in the band To The Boats and come out the other side with a new album, In Case Of Emergence. [read more...]
