Gonnagles is a folk collective from the Netherlands, based in Enschede. Their repertoire consists largely of original compositions in the Flemish and French balfolk tradition. They put a personal twist on the old dances ranging between creative, modern, and bizarre.

Apart from a growing number of performances in the Netherlands they have a long history of gigs in Germany, where they've established a loyal fan base within the burgeoning bal folk scene. [read more...]
