getAmped were a powerpop band from Bournemouth, Dorset, UK, consisting of Rick Parkhouse (vocals & bass), brother Tim Parkhouse (vocals, guitar, keys) and Chris "Dougal" Leredde (drums).

The band toured the UK extensively and China as guests of the government..

The band split up in late 2007/early 2008 but later reformed under the name Chinastyle with Rick and Tim Parkhouse, along with drummer Jason Bowld (Pitchshifter, This is Menace) and Ben Smythe (Rooster). [read more...]
