Artist Info: Footpump

FootPump is a collaboration between Richard Sanderson of Drop and Ticklish (loops, assemblage and guitar) and Alan Savage (vocals and concept) of Basczax and Dada Guitars.

Although both artists are from Middlesbrough in the North East of England, Sanderson now resides in London while Savage lives in The Philippines. Despite the post-punk origins of the duo, their music is unexpectedly humorous - often detailing the tribulations of 1970s Teesside youth, whilst the music is a twisted concoction of various dance musics.
