Artist Info: Fluflafen

FluFlaFen is an improvisational music trio active in the Beijing independent music scene, consisting of Iranian clarinetist Hadi Marvian, Finnish guitarist Jukka Ahonen, and American drummer Yoni Geller. The three musicians, bringing respectively the winding narratives of Persian melody, the sharp spatiality of Nordic soundscapes, and the complex dynamics of American rhythm, met in Beijing and, through repeated collaborations, gradually condensed into a tacit and tightly-knit sonic community.
