Artist Info: Five Thousand Spirits

Five Thousand Spirits is an electronic ambient project from Italy, founded by Stefano Musso (Alio Die), Raffaele Serra and Claudio Dondo (Runes Order).

Their first album, "A Tapestry for Sorcerers" (1995), mainly consisted of low drones and evocative synths, reminiscent of the Runes Orders style. After this album Claudio Dondo quit the group, and Five Thousand Spirits became the duo of Musso and Serra. They released a second album titled "Mesmeric Revelation" in 1999, with a more minimal and meditative sound. [read more...]
