Artist Info: Fatoum

Fatoum was born in Morocco, a village in the Rif, but emigrated to Belgium with her family in the 80's. She's always had a huge passion for art, not only music, but theatre as well. Besides theatre studies, she was also learning different styles of singing, ranging from classical to traditional Amazigh. Although Fatoum left her homeland being only 5 years old, it seems that childhood memories had a huge impact on her both as a person and as a musician. [read more...]
