There are several bands called Extra: (1) a swedish new wave band. (2)A Minnesota solo artist (3) a California-based pop/rock band and (4) a romanian band?

Extra (1) is a swedish electronic post punk / new wave band from Sweden. Henryk Lipp (later of Blue For Two) and Marie Ell (Marie & the Wildwood Flowers) were both about to be prominent players on the Göteborg alternative scene in the 80's.

Extra (2) is the work of experimental-alternative-ambient artist Michael Erickson from Minneapolis, Minnesota. [read more...]
