Elvydnir is a one-man DSBM (Depressive Suicidal Black Metal) band from Central-Finland, Jyväskylä. The band started in December 2010, when Bloodletter started to record the first song of his project "Kuolemani (...of Heathen Sorrow pt.I)". The bands music is influenced by bands like: "Wigrid, Nyktalgia, Agalloch, Alcest, Totalselfhatred, Sterbend, Wehmut..."
The name Elvydnir is from Norse mythology and means "Misery".
