Artist Info: Eli Mellul

Eli Mellul spent the first nine years of his life in Morocco and then moved to Israel where his father was chief rabbi of Or Akiva. As a young man he served in the Israeli Army during the Yom Kippur War and rose to the rank of captain. His destiny however was not with military. Eli's main love was and is music.

Mellul subsequently worked as a cantor in France and Bolivia. Today this internationally known recording artist serves as cantor of Congregation Agudath Achim, a Modern Orthodox shul in Boro Park. [read more...]
