Formed in 2000, Echo Base Soundsystem was an instrumental quintet from Austin, Texas, comprised of Arturo Eduardo Torres (guitars/balafon/organ), Andrew Gerfers (drums/percussion/samples/keys), Nikos Trevino (bass/percussion), Phil Hernandez (melodica/programming/keys), and Pete Neonakis (keys/programming/samples).
