Artist Info: E J Jones

In 1987 EJ was dared to "put out the hat" and play in public busking for money by his grandmother Juanita. He only knew five tunes at that time but it was enough to earn him $13 and a pinch on the behind by a passing college girl. He decided that night what he wanted to be when he grew up.

After getting a strong start in the traditional Scottish style of bagpiping at the St. Thomas Episcopal School under the instruction of Michael Cusack, EJ joined the Hamilton Pipe Band led by Donald MacPhee. [read more...]
