Artist Info: Dystopian Dub Developments

A collective of Viennese musicians that was formed in 2007, but goes back to 2005 when members Bernd Rausch (the 24/7) Ernst Gerdenich (aka Adam Strang), Martin Sägmüller (aka DFKT / Telluric Currents), Mario Stereo, and Oliver Stummer (aka Tomoroh Hidari) started a monthly jam session at local bar "Die Dondrine".
Despite the name, they don't play classic dub, but take their own approach on the technique. The musical output ranges from reggae, to jazz, krautrock, electronics, to drone, sludge or stoner rock. [read more...]
