Artist Info: Downpilot

Downpilot is ostensibly the solo project of singer/songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and recording/mix engineer Paul Hiraga. He has released seven studio albums, 2023's The Forecast being the latest.

Downpilot takes you on a trip across multiple decades with influences subtly ranging from melodic Laurel Canyon-esque ballads and baroque and sunshine pop of the late 1960s and 1970s to 1990s Britpop, all with a 21st century spin. [read more...]
